Our Committee are raising funds so we can buy a new minibus.  

We have a target of raising £20,000 to purchase a replacement minibus.   The Scouts themselves volunteered to raise £2,500 of this - they have now reached their target.

CURRY AND QUIZ - March 2012
An evening of quizzing with a tasty curry at the mid-point raised £400.   Here's the winning team receiving their trophy.

Scouts Event: WINTER CHALLENGE - February 2012
Six of our Scouts walked 18 miles along the Ridgeway in South Oxfordshire.   They raised £466.50 in sponsorship.

SANTA'S FLOAT with Banbury Cross Round Table - December 2011

We joined forces with Banbury Round Table to take Father Christmas around the village.   The door-to-door collection was split between our minibus fund and Round Table charities.   Around £830 was collected.

CHRISTMAS RAFFLE - December 2011

Many thanks to everyone who supported our first ever Christmas raffle by selling tickets, donating prizes, or purchasing tickets for the draw.

We raised around £1,500!

The winner of the first prize of £150 cash was former Adderbury Scout Tom Bishop.

CHRISTMAS MARKET DONATION - December 2011

The organisers of Adderbury’s Christmas Market gave us a donation of £1,000.

The seventh Christmas Market was held at the start of December with over 35 craft and produce stalls, entertainment and festive merriment filling St Mary’s Church, Adderbury. Hundreds of people attended the market, which has become an annual event organised by volunteers. The market has raised many thousands of pounds for local charities over the years.

The Christmas Market Committee decided to support two charities with the proceeds of the 2011

event and donated £1,000 to the Katharine House Hospice and another £1,000 to Adderbury Scouts towards their fund raising efforts for a new minibus.

Sheila Norton from the Adderbury Christmas Market Committee presented the Scouts with a cheque at the Troop’s meeting on December 13.

Scouts Event: BUSKING - December 2011
Danny O'Toole and Alfie Bullus played music at the Christmas market and raised £20 in donations.

Scouts Event: SURVEYS - November 2011
The Scouts undertook to deliver a housing needs survey to every house in our village.   The Parish Council paid us £300 for this work.

AUCTION - October 2011
Thanks to everyone who donated items to our auction.   We raised £1,000.

PARTY IN THE PARK - July 2011
A team ran a pig roast at Party In The Park and raised around £600.

VILLAGE WALK - September 2011
Over 100 people took part in our village walking quiz.   The Bullus family were the main winners of a £50 voucher at the Red Lion, Adderbury Voucher; the second place prize of a 2 course dinner for four at the Toby Carvery went to the Phillips and Smith Team.   The event raised £350.

DISCO - June 2011
A few parents enjoyed a great night and helped to raise over £200.

DAY OF DANCE - April 2011
Our annual burgers and hot dogs stall raised over £800.
