During October 2008 we took a trip to Snowdonia in North Wales to reach the summit of England and Wales' highest mountain.   We walked up the longer and harder Watkin's path.

Across the UK it was a hot sunny weekend ... but in Snowdonia the cloud was thick and it was drizzly at the foot of the mountain.

The amount of water in the waterfalls gave a clue as to how hard it was raining higher up.

Very soon the visibility dropped and the conditions got very wet.

After a long hard hike Dan spotted the summit.
